What is the preferred recreational vehicle to hire for Brits who are faking a run across the colonies?
Thanks, let's always remember to do it for the children.
Remember fords are shit
Skins investigation should be complete. Written report by end of the month.
I've just had a brilliant idea! I'm going to do a fake run across the USA.
No need for expensive flights, support crew or even a vehicle, so I may as well set off first thing tomorrow. I'll write daily progress updates. I'll start a new thread for this project rather than cluttering up this one.
If anyone knows of any companies that would be interested in sponsoring a fake run, then please let me know. If any readers would like to make a donation then rest assured that I will keep every last penny.
Oh and does anyone know what the fake run record is?
The best thing I got from this thread:
Cleared out the local Goodwill of x-large white long sleeved dress shirts. Now, if I can only figure out what Fake Laz wears.
Why don't Brit's do their fake runs across England?

I always thought of Fake Laz as being a spirit, even ethereal in nature. If Fake Laz has a physical embodiment I imagine Fak Laz wears only netting.
Because our country is very narrow. Running across the width of England is only a few hundred miles as the widest part. Not nearly grand enough for Rob.
However, he did run his 'longest run without sleep' in the UK, I think. So I guess Brits sometimes do run their fake runs across England.

Then why not run across Russia? Or Australia? Why come to the US and destroy our productivity by causing us all to waste countless hours laughing and debunking the run?

Try Australia Rob. Very flat country so easier to drive the RV at a steady speed to break whatever the record is for a transcon of Aus.
I'm just boarding my fake flight to San Francisco now, so should be ready to start fake running in a few hours provided we don't hit any imaginary turbulence.
It's a lot easier doing it this way- no queueing at check-in, no ESTA visa hassles and no long stopover at Atlanta. I haven't even needed to get any Dollars.
I'm running across Canada right now. 80 miles a day.

Nice and cheat are not mutually exclusive.
You can be a nice cheat or a mean cheat.

One did, Mark Vaz. Faked a record for JOGLE, the length of the uk.
And who was first to call him out and ask to see the data, as he thought Vaz was cheating, oh yes, RY!
Australia flat? Won't you be surprised when you hit the Great Dividing Range.

You gotta be kidding!
I was really hoping someone could come up with a good punch line to the question. Something like, "They can't because RY already rented the RV." But hopefully a lot funnier than that.

Just googled Vaz, could tell he was cheater instantly when I noticed his second chin.
Not to mention the moobs.
