Maybe he meant he got Abdi and Meb confused, or maybe he misheard Meb for Webb?

It was probably Abdi. He was on the start list and not listed among finishers.
Lets stop this misinformation before it goes any futher, Mebrahtom was running the USA X-Country Championships as he if focusing on London Marathon. Great run by Dathan and the rest of the gentlemen and women who made the team!

it was surely allan webb that they were talking about...he was with ritz for 5k or so...webb...meb...kinda sound the same, i guess.
That post really cleared things up.
"Lets stop this misinformation before it goes any futher, Mebrahtom was( so he was running?) running the USA X-Country Championships as he if(Or is he focusing on London mar. prep? Or don't you know and that is why you said "if"?) focusing on London Marathon. Great run by Dathan and the rest of the gentlemen and women who made the team!"
So what misinformation did that clear up?

I think this is the first time that Ritz has beaten Torres in a race, right?
If you're a butthead from Illinois, you have to be pleased that the IL boys took 2-4 (Broe/Peoria, Torres/Chi burbs, Withrow/Chi burbs).
thanks oldguy
Mebrahtom DIDN'T run at the X-Country Championships but I wish he would have participated. The men's long course team would have been potent with our veterans Mebrahtom, Culpepper, and Tim Broe (will he go to worlds) and the new guns who made the team.
Unbelievable run by Withrow. I'm staggered by it!
I agree, hats off to ritz and torres- but withrow really had the race of the day, possibly the season. Nice work Matt.
Illinois did okay in the top 20 too. Young at 16th is from Peoria, along with Broe.
Dude's training for London (so Haile can wipe the streets with him). How can he expect to have this type of fitness, when he's so close to London?
Way to go Kezes with the 7th place finish, you'll be on the podium in years to come. You shouldn't of doubled, but you ran pretty damn good in both races.

Amen.
Jason, when I said I had to live vicariously through your running, I meant it. I'm so happy for you! And I know there is so much more good stuff to come.
Why didn't Gary run?
Has he retired?
I know a lot of guys will be happy if he did; frees up a steeple spot and cross country spots too!
How could Wisco coach NOT run Withrow at nats??? Hes a national class runner by the looks of it
