I was a waiter to Debra Harry once. Very nice lady. Also Richard Marx and the 5 ladies he came in with. My waiter buddy at the time used to hook up with a lot of actresses just hook me up with snow and they would go.
Dan Marino- at Doral Country Club (now known as Trump National Golf Resort at Doral)
John Elway - at a house party, long after he retired. His knees were deformed. They looked like they went through a war.
Rev Al Sharpton- between flights at Detroit Airport in a bookstore (he is shorter than I thought)
Paulo Benedeti- ok, not a household name. But was a soap opera actor on the Guiding Light and the Bold and the Beautiful. He is a friend of mine.

Agree with your thoughts on Mary Steenburgen.
I know Mary from her 1970s waitress days at Noah's Ark in NYC. She lived a couple of blocks from us (nextdoor to Steve Martin) on 81st St. My dancer GF also worked at Noah's and they were good friends.
I was having dinner in Rao's awhile ago and Bill Clinton was at the next table. As is normal for Rao's a lot of cross table talk went on. I knew he and Mary were friends and we spent a few minutes talking about how smart and sweet she was.. Even before Clinton was governor Mary was talking him up as Presidential material.
Princess Grace of Monaco ranks as my number one on my reigning monarchs /former heads of state I have met list.
I always had the hots for Mary Steenburgen while growing up. She still looks sexy today,
Bill Clinton most definitely was hitting on Mary Steenburgen, you forgot to add.
Here is a pic of Mary at 62! Gorgeous lady.

I met Mike Tyson. He's the man who inspired me to take up boxing. My all-time favorite boxer. Funny guy in person, and kind.
Right now, I'm at a point in my life where I am considering turning professional within a year or two. Serious. I'm really thinking about it. I love boxing and I understand the risks, as well as the fact their are potentially pathetic monetary rewards, but I just can't help but chase what I enjoy. On the bright-side, all of my boxing coaches I've ever had all say my power is phenomenal, and that while it remains to be seen if I can handle the elite's my power matches up with them.
I have Mike Tyson to thank for inspiring me. It was the greatest moment for me, meeting my boxing idol and man inspiring me to take up the sport.
That's probably the only other real big famous celebrity I have met in person. I met some slightly/locally known rapper Bun B? as well as that jewelry guy Johnny Dang?, but that's about it. Still, nothing compared to Mike Tyson in my opinion.
not a troll post. If I do go professional, and make it big, I'll be back to say something here.

talked on the phone with Craig Virgin for about an hour and still text him off and on

Umm, maybe some. You cannot plastic surgery an entire body like that. The arms are a giveaway, and she doesn't have the flab.
Does being a celebrity small talk collector correlate with running performance? Both my big time small talk and fitness are in a slump these days...
Typo not hook me up with it. He hooked the actresses up with it and they would hook up with him. He'd tell them he could not exchange in public but would get them to take him home for the "good stuff". Unbelievable who he scored.
I was not into that. So I did not score with those ladies. But i did alright with the normal girls.
more famous people I met:
Frank Shorter- in the early 90's after a 10 mile race in Reston, Va did a cool down jog with him.
Alto Reed- sax player for Bob Seger's Silver Bullet band. Very down to earth. Met him in South Beach at a couple parties- I used to date his wife's BFF.
Chuck Norris
Donald Trump...
In the same place on the same weekend no less... Well I guess that's the end of this thread...
I used to high jump against Hugh Jackman

As we were eating I noticed that Mohammed Ali was sitting a few tables away with another man that appeared to be his helper.
I told the group at the table that I have never asked for an autograph but I had to - this was Ali!
I went to his table and introduced myself.
Rest in peach Champ.
Amazing story about Ali!
I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but my list includes:
Akon
Anthony Weiner
Oliver Stone
Paul Tergat (shook his hand and wished him luck on our walk to the start of NYC Marathon and he did the same--and then won the race!)
Took a photo with Bekele, Lagat, Rupp, and Farah a few years ago after Pre.
Charles Woodson (on a plane from Hawaii)
John Elway*
Mark McGwire*
other random athletes*
*while asking for autographs as a kid
Barack Obama
George W. Bush
I met more than I thought:
Dennis Rodman- He drinks a lot. Always drunk. All over Ft Lauderdale and Miami.
Oliver North- met him on an airplane in Atlanta.
Fred Deluca- not famous, but incredibly wealthy. He was the cofounder of Subway Restaurants. Was invited to his house for his birthday party almost 6 years ago. The house was every bit as big as you would think a billionaire's would be. He was worth $3.5B. He passed away last year. RIP.

What is the most stupid running advice you've ever heard?🤣(It can be funny)
Are Asics, Saucony, and New Balance envious of Brooks, Hoka ,and On?
