Yes, and a few other things.

And according to the article, he does 75 miles per week and has done a half-marathon in under 2 hours. In other words, he's a better "runner" than most of the other people in the race.

His goal is 4.5-5 hours for the full marathon. Pretty sure that is NOT better than most people in the race. After all 5 hours is almost a walk. Either way that looks very difficult. His one leg must be incredibly strong.

From the Runner's World article...
“My girlfriend, Ally, and I had planned to do the marathon together, to check it off our bucket list,†Koch said. “We chose L.A. because it was on Valentine’s Day, and was also our first anniversary as a couple.â€
On what would have been race day, Koch and his girlfriend completed a half marathon on their own. When Koch returned home to Canada, Kirsten Fleming, the race director of the Calgary Marathon, contacted him to invite him to the event.
“Normally, we don’t allow longboards on our course,†Fleming said. “But since we’re a smaller race, we have more flexibility on accommodations. After meeting with Chris and seeing that he was fully capable of finishing a race, we were willing to make an exception.â€

That's right derp, but unlike you he also has a brain.
Any who, would love to see you try grabbing gels/water without arms and legs while propelling a longboard for many hours.
