You are just about completely wrong.

The amount of misinformation on this thread is astounding. Centro's mother is Guyanese (half African/half Indian).
Known as British Guyana back when she was born. I have met her a few times, and I do not believe she could be more than 50% black African, perhaps much less, perhaps none. Mostly East Indian.
I already posted it. He's 1/2 Guyanese, and his mom is a half African/half Indian mix (like most people from Guyana).
I thought she was half/half but you might be right - she might be more like 75% Indian and 25% black.
In this case, would this make Centro the best runner of Indian descent? Seb Coe was also 25% Indian.
That's like finding the fastest Kenyan swimmer.

Indians are Semitic or half African & half-Asian combinations.

Willis has an Olympic medal. I'd rather an olympic medal than any number of worlds medals. And he's got the faster times
Willis earned his olympic medal nearly 8 years ago. Since Centro started competing internationally/professionally in 2011, he has finished better than Willis at nearly every major championship.
That Centro guy has always behaved like an Asian "have to be 1st at everything" since his high school days back home in suburban Washington, D.C.

Only a Kenyan swimmer never held a world record, and none in the top 10 of all time...

PRs don't mean shit.
Competing at the highest level is everything. And Centro is the best we've got right now.
Try telling 95% of the twats on here that, when discussing Mo.
"Is Centro currently the best Non-African mid-d/d runner on the planet?"
A hollow title for one as doped as he
As has been pointed out, Centro is of African descent (on his mom's side).
Saw his dad run 13:12 in '82. A bit of talent there. Centro the elder working with Alberto to come up with an American record 5000 at the Pre meet.

We ALL are or African descent.
Yes, centro is the best non African 1500 runner alive.
Best mid distance overall is hard to say. Id rather be centro right now than symmonds. But symmonds has the better career and could always come through big this year.
That polish 800 guy is pretty good too.
Nick Willis.

Umm,,, sure thing fake geneticist.
He's of Indian descent on his mom's side.
Why say "on the planet"? Isn't it sufficient to say "the best ..."? Are there other populated planets out there where there is distance running and to which you want to avoid making comparisons?
