Yesterday I was reading one of your race recaps and you referred to her as "teen Mary Cain". I thought, surely she can't still be a teen, so I looked it up and sure enough she was 19 and turning 20 today. It seems like she's been around forever already. I guess she is no longer "teen Mary Cain" though, and I have a feeling expectations will start to reflect that.
who?
20. And already done.
Speaking of teen phenoms...what the heck has Alexa Efraimson been up to?
Well, let's see! She opened with a 2:01.64, .53 off of her PR at Stanford last week.
Then flew to Jamaica to win the 1500m at an IAAF meet, in 4:08. Beating a former NCAA Champion.
Not bad for a freshman.
