Geese are great animals. But they have to be treated correctly from very a young age to fit in with humans' needs:

But I like your approach. To try and run away from us like the scared little sweaty runner that you are.
Is that like a lazy way of lunging?
Don't be silly.
We lounge on lounge chairs, by the water.
To "hoo" it my concern: I was attacked twice by a huge barn owl while jogging on the golf course at Snowmass Village, CO. I was then a blonde while my running partners were not. Upon the third time... well, let's just say that hoot owl will no longer be saying "who?" (which should really be "whom") any more. The feathers did fly.

Ahhh, but that would make you a lizard, and you are not a lizard. Silly goose.
I would like to see you make fun of me to my face. I may not know how to spell lunge but I would be quick to show you that I know how I do it.

This problem is caused by illegal Canada geese entering the USA. They, are as pesky as Mexicans. Why are they protected species? Open season on all...Happy Mothers Day.
I need to explain to you and the other runners here about my people. We know we are immigrants that are not wanted here. People think we are dumb, dirty, criminal birds. We know we aren't cute like the little ducks that people actually build protective private ponds to raise.
We don't have big sharp talons or flesh ripping beaks. Our young ones can be attacked by raccoons, coyotes, mink, and dogs. But what we do have is toughness. We are raised in a tough competitive environment and if we weren't tough we wouldn't survive.
We are unwelcome strangers here. We know that. But you ain't gonna move us out. If we have to we will face down a 400 pound male gorilla.
That's how tough we are. We don't respect weakness. Just remember that.
Goose takes down 1:44 800m runner:
That was a good one. Here's one that gets my fellow geese laughing. We scared the hell out of this gorilla. We chased him out of his own home.
But we are immigrants and we don't take crap from anything
