If you ever go back to your home town, what is it like? What are your HS friends doing?

Quite a few are decomposing.
A lot of them are doing the same things they were doing in HS, smoking weed, unemployed, and living with their parents. I never go back to my hometown, I've completely changed and it's such a different world from the one I live in now. If I saw my HS friends I don't think I could hold a conversation with them, our priorities are completely different.
This is an interesting question for people my age: 45. I moved away from my hometown in 1995 and without social media I had very little insight to what anyone was up to. I missed our only class reunion but with everyone on Facebook I able to see what everyone is up to years later.
It's the usual array of success and failure. One guy is one of the top architects in this big city while another guy does residential driveway sealing. I think it's facinating to take 300 18 year olds from the same socio-economic backgound and set them free into the world and see what happens.
I hope we get another reunion some day so I can see it all in person.

Scott, is that you?! Sorry about that driveway sealing jab. You shouldn't have gone to Vincent. You were warned.
