In all honest I know it is fair to say that Prince Rogers Nelson sits upon the same laurels as Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong and Miles Davis (which Miles one gave Prince a nod to in his autobiography). When all is said and all is done and this message finds it way on a computer archive forever tucked in a digital cloud.
The music of Prince will age with the finest wines.
Dramatic irony the color purple was Prince's favorite.
I finished reading John Fogerty's autobiography and he even paid homage to Prince by being inspired to created his "Centerfield" album, remember?
The one where John played all of the instruments. Fogerty admitted he wouldn't want to do it again. So what does that say?
I think it is comfortable for the most hardened Prince fan to know that he (Prince) found ~God~
RIP
