People who type in all caps.
People who type in all caps.
People who have success in one small area of life (oh, say gifted athletes, or those who inherit wealth or a good business) and they think that that makes them experts in all other areas of life and therefore, gives them the right to tell you what to do and how to live. (the word arrogance pops to mind).
the posts on LR that combine sexual perversion with hate. And the ones that hate alone. And the ones with references to sexual acts.
#1 unique pet peeve for me is people who over use windshield wipers. Boils my maladjusted blood to see people with their wipers whipping back and forth on a high setting in light drizzle. Can you even see the road?
Also:
- People/Friends who insist on finding EXACTLY what they owe on a split check. Just split it or do relative amounts. As a grown @ss adult with a middle class income, do you really need to worry about $2-3 when you're out?
- People who can't park in a spot even SLIGHTLY straight/centered.
- Poorly loaded or organized dishwashers - my wife puts things wherever...
- People who drive around with a large Thule box on their car year round
(when it's used 3-5 days per year). Might as well drop quarters out the window as your MPG drops 5%.
- People who can't search their Gmail for anything in the past. Either they send a new email for something that was just emailed about or they email to ask you for something that's still sitting in their inbox.
- Hot water dispensers that dispense water at 130F, not hot enough to steep tea, etc.
- People who throw away recyclables when the cans are next to each other.
At CVS and other stores, when a receipt comes out that is 10 feet long when you bought 1 thing. I don't know the last time I reviewed a receipt - it goes straight into the trash. I am no tree hugger. It just wastes my time waiting for the longass receipt to come out.
People with low IQ who call smart people dumb/idiots. People who talk trash behind people's backs all day. People who do not contribute to society. Lastly, Hypocrites!

Thank you.
people pretending to be "in the shit" overseas and when they sat in a guarded camp in a peaceful country
27 years in the military, 10 as a grunt, 6 deployments. People did heroic stuff, but it wasn't me, and i don't have PTSD
i did miss my kids
Parents who constantly talk (and worry about) about where their kid(s) go to school, especially elementary school. Get a life and chill out.

Well, if yours "can't stand" I understand why that type of post pisses you off.
I typed in caps because grocery carts in the parking lot makes me MAD!!!!!!!!
Anytime Jamin starts a thread about his lack of women and dating
That cackely sound in some women's voices at certain times when they speak on radio adds. Is that supposed to sound cool? I can't stand that!

I have a number of restaurant related peeves. One specific . . .
The 'friends' who only suggest splitting the check when their share would be larger and only suggest itemizing when their share will be lower .
Yo Ricky in the prix fixe 3 course dinner joint you always suggest we go to you always have the upcharge appetizer while nobody else does. You are the only one to order the shrimp entrée that also has an add on charge plus you usually have a cocktail and three glasses of red wine when all of us skip the hard booze and typically have one glass of white and one of red. Do we want to split it evenly? Not after you did it three weeks in a row!.
People who text/talk on their cell phones while driving. Also people who do not use their turn signals.

Not necessarily related to running, but what is something gets you annoyed or is a pet peeve of yours? I am sure we all have plenty, but start with one each.
People who can't take the time to get flush the toilet paper they put all around the seat Seriously, you spent how long creating this masterpiece, making sure that not a single part of your precious butt would touch the seat at all and yet you can't spend the 3 seconds to swipe into the toilet when you are done?
People who accelerate really fast in a car and make a lot of noise with their engine only to quickly slow down at the next red light. They think they're so cool cause they can step on their tiny gas pedal. White trash.

Aggressive drivers. I already drive over the speed limit. Yet I routinely come across drivers who tailgate, weave in and out of traffic and cut me off with no signal. Sometimes they're on their phones. It aggravates me to no end. You're putting my life and others' in danger with this kind of reckless behavior.
The absolute best is when you see the terrible driver pulled over a few miles up the road.
Keep right except to pass, and there will be no need for them to weave.
When people say oh you look really cute with hair. Implying that I have some control over it...
F-in selfies, you don't need to know what you look like a hundred times a day in a picture.
When people justify the existence of a useless rule or regulation with the phrase "rules are rules."
I know this phrase can be used to express the idea that the rules suck but you still need to comply with them because we don't have the power to change them. What irks me is when people who do have the power to change enforcement of a rule, or the rule itself, use the phrase "rules are rules" as a justification for why the rule exists in the first place.
I grasped the concept in about 4th grade that we live in a society where rules are used for the common benefit of people and not as an end in and of themselves. I'm amazed that there are some adults who live their whole life and never grasp this idea.

YES!!! This is so specific, but I'm right there with you. Posters who are panting and scratching to get their rebuttal out that they can't clean up the backlog of previous posts. WE WONT READ YOUR POSTS IF THEY'RE FULL OF EXTRA QUOTES. At least Ventolin organizes properly!
