I wouldn't go that far. To that point, all Hunter had done was get 4th at Footlocker as a junior (Fisher 1st that year, and as a junior), run 8:48 indoors for a full 2 mile (Fisher had run a 4:03 almost falling down at the same meet), and won the Penn Relays mile in 4:07. The Grant Fisher top-4 talk was right after his sub-4 and before the Dream Mile. The next week, Hunter proved he was incredible.

He has been the real deal for a while now. When people were asking whether Grant Fisher was a top-4 all-time HS runner, it was obvious Hunter was as good or better and he still had another grade to go.

And apparently he hasn't been running outside of a treadmill in a week.

Will he go sub 4 next weekend??
