thanks for that, fun interview
No surprise but sounds like he is done physically and mentally w track. If he doesn't make the team, it will be interesting to see if he even bothers making an effort to make 10k team
I love Tollefson's accent. Always reminds me of Stewart's mom from that Mad TV skit. Carrie is also one of the nicest and most genuine people you'll ever be around as well.
Yep. Seems like the last of the big 3 is cooked after this one. Happens to everyone, I suppose.
Yeah, eight to ten years as a pro unless you are Lagat, Meb or Geb or a female seems to be the deal.

Ritz still could make a good living on the road. I still believe he can stay healthy he got some more 2:08 ish marathons in him.
Still showed last winter he is still a podium finisher in top cross country meets domestic and foreign.

Meb only had 8 years as a pro, they were just spread out with large gaps in between where he did nothing
RUFKM, her screeching nauseates me.

makes me wonder how Lagat does it....hmmm..
Carrie is the Howard Stern of running interviewing...she's good...not sure how ESPN has not signed her, all kidding aside...she could be the next Erin Andrews...kept it up Carrie!

Rewatch the video. He's not cooked- He's vested in marathoning over the track & says he feels great.
