Multiple is almost never used for two. It can be, but we have the words two, a couple, and several for that purpose.
Several actually means more than 2, buddy.

Don't think the Kenyans would come out and win it, they are used to running firm trails and roads and would suffer to strong runners like Heath.
Ever hear of John Ngugi?
"No.
Mo won two titles. Not "multiple". "
Multiple: consisting of, including, or involving more than one

Salazar can't coach XC!!!!
FARAH dynasty is over.
Heath didn't show any strain on his face until about a minute left in the race. He wasn't even breathing heavy. That's insane to me
Wow, only on letsrun would you squares argue over the definiton of "mulitiple."
Listen, get laid, get a life, and just stop being lame.
Back to Mo. Yes, the dude's a perennial cheater. Why does this FACT surprise anybody??

Would ¨a brace of titles" be OK?

Multiple: consisting of, including, or involving more than one
mul·ti·ple
ˈməltəpəl/

so, 2 is a multiple
Ahem, adjective v. noun.

Hahahahahahahahaha
running in mud or with slipery footing makes for a different kind of contest.
i remember the best track guys getting destroyed by work horse runner types on a muddy course, at the national level. NZ.
still, there should be an olympic running contest for cross country where you jump hurdles, run up a steep hill or two, then half a mile through muck. a reall all round running challenge. that would be the best of events and show who is the best all round distance runner.
cudos to heath. he's king for a day, week of cross country.
seen it before them big long strides gets thru
mud easier,wit strength.
farah come summer know peptide tat have him peak
Multiple means more than one but is rarely used to refer to a small amount such as two or three.
Can we discuss athletics now?
Although Farah does not have the fastest times, I dont think anyone dead or living, would be able to beat him in a 5000m track race.
Disagree. Farah has never won a fast race. (12:5x and 26.4x are not fast when compared to WRs: Farah is over a second per lap slower.)

shut up you Moran!
3:28 1500m
59:22 HM
26:50 10,000m
Double World Champion 5/10k
If that is ok, Name one distance runner in the world in 2015 whom would not want those results?
If he is in a fast race he will sit and kick like he usually does. He can race better than anyone.

I think that you are getting confused here.
Rupp had a sh&t Jul/Aug and Sept by his standards. Of course, if I ran 2 minutes slower than Rupp did at 10,000m during that period, I would be over the moon and I would say that I had an amazing season... When Rupp ran 13:08 in Sept in Brussels, he got beat by True and Hill. 13:08 is sh$t (for him) and getting beat by True and Hill is not good for him (using his June 2015 standard and before).
Same goes for Mo. Anybody on planet earth would of loved to have his Jul/Aug and Sept performances. But for him, he did not have the best season of his life. He had a good season.
Everything is relative.
Mo did not look like a world beater in this XC. He looked like the pre Salazar Mo.
