Quit my team, tell my coach what I think of him, pr at every distance, get ready for fall xc.
Run a sub 10min mile without needing a fuel belt.
Complete a race without posting it on Facebook and / or telling everyone I know.
Get better masking agents for my PED's (aka chocolate covered bacon).

Post your goals for 2016 here.
My goals are to run sub 16 in the 5k and sub 33:30 in the 10k.
Sub-4 Mile, Sub-8:45 Steeple (Trials Standard), USA World Junior Team.
Sub 14:00 5k
4:50 mile. (broke 5 for the first time this summer 4:57).
Sub 17 5K (currently 17:52)
Almost exactly what I want.
4:54
10:35
XC: Sub 16:30 for 5k
Sub 1:20 half
Sub 17 5k
Ran 1:22 and 17:04 in 2015 year, along with 2:55 marathon, but probably won't run another full in 2016
My goals are to stay injury free and compete in my last year of high school and hopefully get to run at a D1 university in the fall. Been a really rough, injury filled 4 years.
My goal is to win my Division 3 State Champs in the spring with an 1:57 800m.
1. Don't get injured or sick, I haven't had a year without injury/illness since my freshman year of high school
2. Don't get inured
3. sub-15 5k
4. sub 25 8k xc
5. sub-4 1500m
6. sub-2 800m
7. don't get injured
2:37-2:39:xx at Boston if conditions don't completely suck
Sub 16 5k in June
2:35 or better fall marathon (probably Mohawk Hudson or maybe Chicago)
Probably won't focus on a half this year, but would as a stretch goal would like to try for ~1:10 at a fast 20k in March
2015 was a great year, ran my biggest mileage ever and PR'd every distance 1000m-marathon off the aerobic gains
2016 goal is to do it all again but with actual race-specific training
* 70+ mpw with 3-5 doubles (run commuting as much as possible)
* Wake up at 6:30 every day instead of varying
No time goals right now. As long as I do the above combined with the usual harder workouts and other exercises, I should have no problem running plenty of PBs.

I ended up with 16:01 in the 5k and sub 33 in the 10k. It was a pretty good year of running overall.
How did everyone else do with their goals?

Sub 15:00 5k. Injuries have derailed me for much of the past 4 years, so I'm hoping this is finally the year I get to take a few good shots at it. Heading into indoor track with the best base I've ever had in my life, so if there was ever a time to do it, this is it.
PRs at any other distance would just be icing on the cake, but the focus is 100% on 5000m.
15:07, came up just a little short. Ran PRs at every distance mile-10k though, so still a good year overall.
