Jim Ryun. Not sure how good a POTUS he would be, but may have the most realistic shot.
Didn't we learn the perils of electing a "down to earth guy" from dumbya?
I'd vote for Chris Derrick.

Was thinking the same thing. Finding his name on the second page is a good reminder how clueless LRC can be.
To point out the obvious, Ryun was a US Congressman.
Joan Benoit Samuelson
Sara Hall - far better looking than Ryan, would still have God on our side, and CSPAN could cover her weekly 10-mile tempo around the Mall and Potomac while the secret service dudes have to use bikes to keep up. I'd tune into that regularly!

He was a state representative. It didn't go well.
Alberto- he's ruthless enough to play the political game.
I think Chris Derrick and Ben True would actually both make very good presidents. One issue with democracy is that is takes years and years of ruthless ambition and endless publicity to get elected president. We will probably never have a president that is a quiet, earnest decision-maker because of how we choose them, which is a shame because I think that is the type of person who would do the best job.
My vote would be for Allyson Felix. Idk for president. She's already a great ambassador for the sport maybe that could transition into politics
