It's called tolerance.
In a recent interview, Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada says that, of the 25K refugees he will bring in before New Year's, they will be comprised entirely of women, children and families (no single men).
The very first question a reporter asks him after he gives his statement is whether he has considered giving priority to persecuted groups in Syria, such as Christians, atheists, etc, ahead of Muslims. He quickly responds: "No, that would be discrimination."
LOL.
Similarly, Trudeau pledged (and carried through on his promise) to give "AT LEAST" half of the cabinet positions in his government to women. If more women were qualified for these positions, he would be more than happy for his cabinet to be overrepresented by them, however, he is willing to pass over highly-qualified men for lesser qualified women in order to achieve at least a 50/50 split.
Due to this, you get complete idiots like Christia Freeland selected as Minister of International Trade. I saw her in an interview recently, debating the refugee crisis, and she was made to look like a complete and utter fool by the other members of the panel. Having her representing Canada abroad makes me embarassed to be Canadian. Based off of what I've heard, Catherine McKenna - Minister of Environment and Climate Change is not the sharpest tool in the shed, herself.
I wish I could find that discussion that Freeland was a part of, as it is very relevant to the thread title.
