he was on his scooter the whole race. bunny hopped like 5 times the crowd went nuts.
THE Jacob McBurcham???
Probably just took this long for Dunn to get all the Martin Smith out of him.

I thought he was on the football team?
asinine comments abound here. if you've been paying any attention, you'dsee that he's been a strong contributor this season. second, he has nothing to do with martin smith- do you not realize that there is a univ of Oklahoma and an okla state?
You do realize that Martin Smith Did coach at U of OK a few years ago?

Yeah because Dunn has done SO MUCH BETTER than Martin at Oklahoma. His teams barely make nationals. Smith had OU in the top 5.
You're thinking of Dave Smith, the OK St coach. He said Martin Smith who is the former Oklahoma coach. So I would watch which comments I call asinine.

Well played.
Just looking over his results as of late he was 11th at wisco. 12.5 seconds back from scott. Then 2nd at Big 12. Then 2nd at region by 1.5 seconds back from scott.
Seems like Dunn is doing great things.

Martin Smith's team were also composed of already developed transfers and not his own recruits.

I stand by my comment. He's definitely the fastest football player in NCAA XC.
Great to see. I watched his solo 858 when he was in high school.
good for him to come out of a difficult transition to college--really a difficult transition from a low 4 in his junior year, as I recall--with this fine result at 10k, and he's a miler.
Good for Burcham, a guy who has been trashed on letsrun many times for not taking the sport seriously enough.
This should set up things nicely for him at the mile this indoors and out, hopefully.
Looks like he is serious enough.
Was watching the last 600m of the race. Burcham pushed for the win and got a small lead over Scott but lost it in the last 200. Great performance by Burcham. Will he run a few 3000s this indoor season?
