Nice job Big Red.
This means the NE regional will almost certainly be a 2 team region. A big boost for teams on the bubble.

The live results initially had Columbia in fourth ahead of Dartmouth. Figured that would push in Cornell and ROJO would be running naked through the streets.
"Rules say EKU can only be pushed in if they can only get in via a push.
If EKU can get in on their own, Furman and NC State Men will not make the NCAA XC Championship." - Gordon from FloTrack explaining the rules @ 12:00 PST
EKU has 3 points and as of right now can get in on their own...as #31 which means Furman and NC state would get left at home.
What do Furman and NC State need from the rest of the regions to get into the meet?
Really need to look at changing the rules.
No way two teams could have gotten in on their own should be left at home because a team that beat them was "too good."
If a team that would otherwise have pushed a team in gets left out because the team it would have pushed qualifies on its own, the rule should be changed to it make so that the push does take place at the earliest possible juncture.
CORNELL IN AS #31!!! before west and mountain regions southeast EKU's 3rd place has completely shifted the region as well as minnesotas 2nd place, going to be a strange nationals this year.

With only the west regional left on the women's side, this is what it's looking at right now. We are double checking our work.

Has any team ever had 4 individuals qualify to Nationals?
If Nova is OUT it looks like they will get 3 individuals and Warnick will be the first guy left out.
That's very different than Kolas. Kolas has Kansas in and the last four are different.
Do Oklahoma and Tulsa make it out of mw?
Ben Saarel sighting!
Did Justyn Knight open up a 1:30 lead in the last 2k of the race? LetsRun Tweeted a photo at the 5 mile mark with everyone still together...https://twitter.com/letsrundotcom/status/665234200300093440This doesn't seem possible. He would have closed that final 2k in 4:30-4:40 (total time not pace!).
We have video interviews from the Northeast Region here.
Men's individual champ Justyn Knight of Syracuse
Syracuse coach Chris Fox
Cornell individual qualifier Ben Rainero
Women's individual champ Dana Giordano of Dartmouth
That time is a typo for Knight. He was a few seconds ahead of Bennie.
His actual result is 30:30., not 28:59.
Chip malfunction...
No reason he would be allowed to go away like that.

Not quite. Quinn from PSU is the bubble. Warnick is just behind him.
Another one of note is John Mascari. Looks like he will be 5th individual in GL.
Any other big name individuals looking like they missed?
