I don't get why people bag on soccer so much. It's fun to play and like any sport, once you have more of an understanding of the game it's fun to watch too. I love football, but an NFL game has turned into a 3 hr infomercial...three-and-outs wedged in between 90 seconds of commercials.
I'm in Italy on vacation right now and have seen games in both Milan and Rome. Both have been fast paced and exciting and between the two games I've seen seven goals. I find it funny how a 1-0, 2-1 soccer game is boring but people find a 7-0, 14-7 football game (same number of scores) exciting.
