Post your PRs and your mileage from the past week
I'm quite sorry about the replies not being as long as they have been in the past, I've been pretty busy. I'm jugging moving rooms, work, school, and running at the moment.
Replies from last week-
OklahomaGuy Great Tuesday and Wednesday sessions, those are pretty strong in my eyes. I'm really happy for you running a great race, and a PR, that's gotta be one of the best feelings in the world. Probably the best week I've ever seen out of you, that's awesome, I hope it keeps rolling.
Blahdeblah Nice week, don't worry about races when the conditions are bad. I still find that a solid time.
Cyclone$ That's a week, nice and strong. I'm very impressed w/ that 3 x Mile session, that's just awesome.
Work it That hill session is great, awesome to see the consistent splits. I do my tempos around that pace, and honesty, I don't think I could do one w/out accurate mile splits, good session. As for the race, that's awesome, great to see that you've got a shot at winning your sectional meet. I have NO SHOT, at winning mine, considering there will be 2-5 all-staters there (15:00-15:20).
IllinoisRunner Smart move on the tempo, I can't stress enough how much more important effort is on a workout like that, rather than pace. Nice to see you under 17, when it doesn't really seem like that was good important to you. That's great that you raced well on Saturday.
king_slayer921 That's funny, because lately I've been noticing all of the work I did this summer paying off, it's such a great feeling. Good all around this past week, hope to see more of that as the season is progressing. Also, great tempo.
Cogs I find it funny that you ran a 9.2 mile long run last week, and I ran a 9.19 mile long run that week too. Nice repeat Ks! As for the race, I'd recommend going out at an even pace and trying to maintain it the whole way, it's the easiest way to run it for most people.
Abryr5 Nice job Tuesday and Thursday. Congrats on the PR, and possibly sub 5 pace for 5k! Awesome week man.
Xc-rules I know what you mean with the wind, I did mile repeats that day, and I felt like I was working pretty hard to get through it, but I was on the track so I had a tail wind to make up for it. Great session on the 400 hills, and the dual meet.
