I'm a sophomore in highschool and last year I ran a 2:32 800 and a 5:50 mile. By the start of track season I want to run a 2:10 or below mile and a 5:00 or below mile.I found this training plan and wanted some opinions on it and I'd it will help me achieve these goals. Saturday- Hill repeats Sunday- Rest Monday-long run 10-12 miles Tuesday- speed or hill session Wednesday- 6 to 8 mile run, circuit training Thursday- 5k pace session (20 x 200 30 rest, 16 x 400m 45 sec rest, 8 x 800m 90 sec rest, 5 x 1000 3 min rest, 4 x 1600 3 min rest) Friday- 6-8 mile run
