Given Destiny Collins is posing in Baylor attire all over the internets, I doubt SC will get her.
The word gets around when you ask about full scholarship up front. Baylor and other programs want to get to know the athlete more before offering a substantial scholarship much less a full one. I assume they may also want to be on the list of 5 or fewer official visits before talking about scholarship. I assume most do not want to discuss specifics until after official visits. The coaches do opening talk about their recruits with other recruits and other people so the word gets around. I was a little surprised a recruited DI runner I know had heard this about Destiny from a DI coach. While I won't say someone does not deserve the best scholarship offer they can obtain I think it would be helpful if there was a list of do's and dont's regarding recruiting etiquette. I admit I may have asked some questions of coaches that raised a few eyebrows.
Is a good list of the details of regarding the recruiting process once it gets to official visits and offers?
Do college coaches think it is embarrassing to offer a substantial scholarship and be turned down?
