Ok...so people are just listing what they eat. What I want to know is why from a physiological point of view.
I think an important consideration is your insulin. You dot want to cause your insulin to spike before your marathon because you'll burn thru your glycogen faster and earlier.
This is what I do to avoid that .. please critique. I get up 4 hours before the gun and eat mostly complex but easily digestible carbs like banana cream of wheat then go back to bed. I drink gatorade a few minutes before the start.
Does this concept, approach make sense?
