The gap is getting bigger between the NCAA and CIS, so the streak could really end at 3.
4:06.77 for Schweitzer (NCAA) to 4:08.92 for Lucia Stafford (CIS). So Lucia would actually only be third in the NCAA this year.
The only hope for the CIS is probably Regan Yee who ran a 9:37.31 steeplechase today (yes, that's faster than Ostrander's 9:38.57 (the NCAA leader), but this would be the topic of an another thread). She has run a 4:09.39 earlier this year, but she is clearly in shape right now. I'm not sure that she will get the opportunity to get in a fast 1500m however (and go as fast as 4:06.77).
