Ok, you have not made peace with the"fact" yet. It will come. You need to get through all the phases of acceptation first. There is no need to rush any of the phases... You'll get there. However, if you are struggling through a phase, we are here to help you.
So yes or no?
Nice trolling guys. You started a thread where you aren't willing to argue or even negotiate as to the strength of CIS (which no one cares about) vs. the NCAA (which everyone cares about, and where you send your top runners). Clearly you are ignorant of the facts being presented that show that while you are correct that 1 male athlete and 3 female athletes bested the NCAA this year, the depth of the NCAA makes the CIS look like a very strong High School meet. But again, your original post was correct and no one can argue with facts.
Don't forget that the current WORLD SILVER MEDALIST in the 800m is a product of the CIS

But it's so interesting to see how many people actually try to argue against facts...

Nobody tried to explain/understand why the very very top CIS athletes may have a better environment/schedule to run fast times in the summer and why that environment may actually be better than the NCAA system for the very very top athletes (not the 3:38 or 4:10 type runners, but the very very top and I'm talking about the 1500m only here).
It's quite the statistical oddity that a system with a dozen schools beat a systems which is more than 10 times it's size.
It was easier to just to try to argue against the facts (even though, as you said, you can't)
Good lord, shut up man. You are giving CIS athletes a bad name.
The NCAA is much, much better than the CIS.
The CIS has steadily been getting faster and faster and had some amazing performances on the mens' side (Charles) and on the womens' side (Fiona) over 1500m. These happened to be faster than the fastest marks in the NCAA. There were also great performances from Riva (3:37), Gollish (4:07), and Stafford (4:07) This is a HUGE anomaly, and while we should be proud of it, let's not get carried away. It's also important to note that Charles has used 5 years of eligibility and would have been ineligible for NCAA competition.
Let's hope we continue to see great growth in the CIS and more athletes stay at home to compete.

Ohhh, Canada Land Kid, you do not get to claim Alexa Efraimson or remove her from the NCAA. Her coach came up in the NCAA system, having run at Washington State and University of Oregon; then coached at Portland State University. Now she is attending University of Portland, an NCAA school. This year she will break 4:00 at an NCAA school.

A - I never said that the CIS was better than the NCAA. I don't think that anybody here said that. I don't know where you are getting that from. There is 10 to 20 times the number of schools in the NCAA. Imagine if the overall quality and depth was better in the CIS than the NCAA given the small size of the CIS. That would be insane. It would have to be done with systemic PED usage...
B - I am not talking about NCAA/CIS in all events, but simply the 1500m. It's a very specific event which has specific requirements. It's not the PV or the sprints. Simply the very top of the 1500m (not depth).
C - I am just stating the fact that the fastest man and woman in the CIS are faster than the fastest man and woman in the NCAA at 1500m.
That's it...
It's a fact.
CPT and Benson have the Olympic standard (@ 1500m) and nobody who was in the NCAA last year does.
This is really the reason why the NCAA brought back the mile. They couldn't handle the fact that the top CIS runners (male and female) were faster than the top NCAA runners at 1500m. They were now afraid of this direct comparison and opted out of the 1500m.
Simple avoidance. Capitulation really...
you mad?

It can't be 100% coincidence. Top CIS runners (man and woman) goes faster than NCAA counterpart at 1500m and NCAA changes the event immediately...
It was probably very embarrassing for the NCAA system.
Here we go again...
Stafford from University of Toronto ran 4:29 this weekend, which is faster than the top NCAA woman (who ran 4:32 this season)
...that, even though they don't run the mile in the CIS.
...and again outdoor for the 1500m this summer (2016)
Stafford 4:06.53 (Olympic standard) vs Freitas 4:09.53 (just off the US trials qualifying standard)

How many years in a row is this?

3.
Could this be the year when the top 1500 NCAA woman beats the top 1500 CIS woman?
As of today, Jessica Hull (the NCAA champion) has run 4:08.75 to Lucia Stafford's 4:09.17. It's close, but Hull has the edge right now.
Why can’t Canada develop these athletes better after college? Because the top NCAA runners go on to do great things and I don’t see those results from the CIS individuals touted in this thread.
