just seems like a normal day for most women.
Some men are really awkward and weird - like the one that hit on her weirdly.
Life isn't that hard for her I dunno.

That was painful to read. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I.
Does she know Caitlyn Jenner?
These guys who "identify as male." I take it that they're, you know ...males?

Your microaggressions will not be tolerated here. Please educate yourself on the difference between gender and sex before you further display your ignorance.

Thanks didn't want to waste my time reading it.
Where does one start? Did any of her parent's children live?
One would hope with her education that she would see what a basket case of idiocy she is and try to change. She denigrates everyone around her. She probably thinks she is a good person, too.
So, I guess I don't get it. Is this a male who "identifies" as a female or is this how they are taught to write in college now in order to not be "offensive"?
If for some reason this "was?" a male then it needs to give back its distinction of "Most Decorated FEMALE North Carolina high school Track Athlete of all time" back to the person that actually deserves it.
If this is not the case can someone please explain to stupid ol me what the hell she is trying to say?
I read this as a satire piece but it seems everybody else read it as serious. Am I way off base or are the rest of you?
Yawn.
I wish I had her problems.
I'm a woman and totally agree with you. It just reads as WHITE GURL, ya don't know problems.

I really hope that it is, otherwise her prolific use of the pronoun "I" almost made my brain explode.

I am little confused on this point as well.
I love the idea that annoying = "disempowering." Yes, we all deal with people doing and saying things that irritate/insult us. So what? If feeling insulted by normal conversation leads you to achieve less in life, you're the one who is doing something wrong. Stop trying to turn run-of-the-mill annoyances into some kind of major social injustice.
Crap like this is what is going to sink serious progressive thought in this country.
She has it pretty rough. I'm glad I'm not her.

She'll regret writing this in about 2 years. Once she enters the real world. I wish her nothing but success and happiness. Go Heels!! T-Fi!!!
