Bolt looked terrible in the 100, and 200 rounds. He also looked terrible in the 4x1 final
The 200 final definitely showed me he's on something.
Shout out to his doctor!
But I'm a fan who doesn't care if you dope or not.

Innocent until proven guilty, but I was a sprinter, and Bolt's performances seem extremely suspicious to me.
I was a D-II guy, but it seems like ONLY at the professional level do you see drastic drops like this in a performance in a season. Sure, a lot of sprinters are trained to "peak" at a certain time, but it's rare to see a .3 drop unless someone is completely and totally out of shape when the season started.
I ran one season where I was 10 pounds underweight and coming off a nasty hamstring injury at the start of the season, and even then, my times only dropped .18 in the 100m over several months.
When I see crazy performance drops like this, especially in 1-2 months ... I think they're up to something. Just my take.
IAAF is dirty as **** and Coe is dirty as **** too. All Bolt has to do is pay some of all that money he has to keep his name clean. Whole world is dirty. **** people are doping for better instagram shots.
"still have a hard time believing an island with 2 million people and less advanced facilities manages to beat a country of 300+ million people for every year since 2008."
I chuckle as I read these posts. 2008, huh? Can anyone recall why Gatlin was not there to challenge Bolt that year? That's right.... his 4 yr (2nd) suspension began in 2006.
USA's strongest sprinters are proven dopers, yet all fingers are pointing to Bolt and the Jamaicans. Lets be real.... the USA (and some other nations) should have relinquished many decades of medals (Olympics included), which were won prior to the Balco scandal. Why? ....Due to the extreme level of doping they enjoyed for decades. Maybe then, you wouldn't have pegged Jamaica as starting a winning streak in 08'.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athletics_in_Jamaica
Consider this....USA's #1 is now running at a much higher level than he did when he was fully juiced AND 10-15 YEARS YOUNGER. So who is most likely doping in this scenario? Gatlin got his ass handed to him by a guy who ran only his 5th fastest time for the event. Was Bolt not supposed capable of running far below his WR? Gatlin's 200m pb is 19.57. Maybe he should have concentrated on beating that, instead of flailing like a schoolgirl in a fight, every time he neared the tape.
Explain your logic, anyone? USA, is a nation of 300 million with access to the best dope, technology and training. It's not like you can say the USA is running clean. Not when even the honorably stoic Tyson Gay got busted and Gatlin wins 29 in a row, at age 33.
So.... tell me again, how an economically strapped island of just 2.7 million, even doped, could dominate not only the USA, but the whole world at such a level? Are you all statistically challenged? That's not possible, even if Jamaica dopes on a West German scale.
So again, why do they dominate? I know... but you'll never accept the truth. You're too traumatized by the Lance Armstrongs, and all the other dopers to figure it out.
All I can say that if Bolt is doping so is Allyson Felix ad Ashton Eaton. Both had equally or more impressive performances than Bolt. I mean, seriously who can believe that Felix can run 47.6 in the 400 meters and be considered clean? Eaton breaking the world record and running 45 flat is not raising eyebrows?? but Usain Bolt who doesn't even break any records is being questioned?
Isn´t Felix´s improvement greater than Bolt?
Boring.
Typical LetsDope thread.
They're all doping - get over it
Really? If Powell wasn't 6'3" he'd be a slow sprinter? You obviously don't understand how some sprinters are faster than others. Until Bolt, everyone thought shorter guys were faster. Now that Bolt is here, people like you think that's why he's faster. You can't be right when you talk out of both sides of your mouth.
And to the poster who mentioned Bolt at the World Relays, I do remember that 8.65 anchor leg. I'm not ignoring it, I just recognize that a perfect handover can chop tenths off a 4x100m leg, and if we go with the simple logic that 100m acceleration takes 1 second longer than a flying 100m, Bolt should have been able to run 9.65 in Beijing. Yeah, I didn't think so either.
As far as the poster who called me out for only targeting Jamaican runners, I'd like to remind you that this is about Usain Bolt, not Jamaica. And I also mentioned in a post on this thread that it would be foolish to believe Tyson Gay & Justin Gatlin are clean, hopefully you've seen that by now. I'm not saying Jamaicans dope and Americans are clean. Hell, if I had a ton of cash, I'd bet it all Maurice Greene won so often because of his injectables, not his training program and genetics.
And to the poster who mentioned their own experience in being slowed by injuries, I appreciate the first hand knowledge, rather than assuming I'm wrong, telling me so, and expecting me to believe it because "I read it on the Internet" or whatever. Kudos to you sir!!
