This is why I just stay at home and wait to die. I don't want to get laughed at.

Piano Dude - no one in the whole gym cares one whit about what you are lifting. Seriously, you have all types there. Perhaps the only ones who care are ones unsure of themselves and need to belittle another. But, seriously, no one cares one bit.

Good, you can give him shit after your next 5k, although he will probably have to wait for you at the finish (I'm guessing you will be scorching a mean 17:30).
Meh. I used to hit the 25lb dumbbell curl struggle. Of course I'd do that after my push ups and core routine. I'm sure the meatheads laughed at me struggling but I was happy with my defined 8 pack. Not to mention I'd struggle with 25 reps 4 times while they barely muscle out 3 reps with the 100lb-125lb dumbbells with 15 minutes rest. I'd giggle at them for such an easy workout and I'm sure they'd giggle at me for using such little weight. Different goals mean different workouts. Most people judge at a gym since a gym is full of insecure people, but only the REALLY insecure make a big deal out of it. The rest don't and shouldn't care about the self conscious losers.
You all assume he is fast.
What fast runner does bench press?
Esp 25lb

You beat me to the punch, funny how all the Obama supporters were saying how his lifting was okay and nothing to laugh about.
Maybe in plenty of fights being beaten up.
That was me doing the 25 lb lifts. I did 3,000 reps. Takes me about an hour and a half. After I was done, I went for a 2 hour run. (6:20 pace)
haha 25 pounds, you kiddin mate. you serious? like those poor guys who can only run 100 metres before they run out of air because of all the ganja smoke destroying there lunges.

Have you ever been to the track doing a workout and realized you were the fastest person on the track. Occasionally, when I'm lifting (newbie) I wonder if I could ever be the strongest person on the floor. The other day when I got to the Y(kind of late) there weren't too many people lifting. Well the next thing I knew there were only three of us left lifting. Now I'm thinking about the whole strongest on the floor thing. Soon one guy left, and it's just two of us lifting. I was like, sweet, soon as this lady leaves, I'm he man.
Hahah...
Brojos seriously need to get the POD vote button going again. Been some good ones lately.
Pretty sure those guys can bench press reps of 250 lbs
Get to smoke ganja
AND have a bigger wang than you.
Smaller balls, but bigger wang.

I tore my rotator cuff 1.5 years ago and I'm doing girl push ups and would probably bench 25-50lb dumbbells right now. It's not that big of a deal. I'm sure you're a pvssy but I'm not. Unlike most people on this board I didn't grow up being a runner and I've been in plenty of fights. I would gladly get in one with you if you were at the gym and laughing at me.

I guess 2:19 marathon is not fast enough for you.

Hmm. I've been known to use the bare 45# bar for bench.
It's called "warmup."
Knows the system.
So you fancy black guys too then, stud.
I know you've seen my stuff. But to be able to compare...
Was justin any good, or did he just 'blow' past you?
I bench 25 lb dumbells in my routine and I'm training to run under 65 minutes for the half and 2:18 for the marathon

As lame as his workout form was, the lightest weights appear to be silver 5-pound dumbbells. They look exactly like a pair at my parents' house. He also used heavier dumbbells that are at least 25 pounds, maybe 35-40 pounds.
Michelle's workout video is much better - plyometrics, core, heavy bag training, and incline benching 35-pound dumbbells.

Enjoy your lonely Fri/Sat nights because you won't find a lady who appreciates the SCRAWNY look that comes along 65min HM shape.
But to each their own. I gain a few more pounds of solid muscle mass and impress the ladies. Maybe even yours...
And they weren't laughing at me when I was cranking my 10 x 400m repeats at 60. They were in awe...going out with 2 of them tonight.

I saw that, too. Pretty impressive for a woman.
