30 laps, big start/split button on the front, lasts years and years.
Last time I bought one it was I think $35, the one before that was $25, and the one before that was $20. ~5-7 years between purchases, so probably over $40 now.
Seconded. I've had mine for close to 8 years now, wore it in rain, covered it in sunscreen, soaked in sweat, exposed to sub-zero temps and snow, and still works like the day I got it. This watch was made for days on the track.

I second this as well
Been under 25 feet of water, 110 degree temps, -8 degree temps, and been thrown onto rocks many times.
It holds up well.
