Did he scrape his head? If so maybe they can give him one of those scalp transplants... A scalp with a nice head of hair on it. The space alien look was pure pain to the eyes

Bikes are definitely more dangerous than running. At least they put him in a room. Last time the same happened to me they just stuck me in a wheelchair and dumped me in the waiting room. In 4 hours all I saw was a PA, no doctors, did not spent any time inside of the actual ER. They did not take my blood pressure or do any checking out beyond asking me what was going on an X-rays of what i said was hit. They did ask for $3400 for all this. Anyway, hope he will have a perfect recovery. -

Recovery time?

Webb would have had to really step it up this season to be in the picture for Olympic selection, which was his original goal. But he simply has not done this (no fault of his own, the men's sport has really moved on in the last 8 years). This injury has ended the dream, sadly.
Having said that, the Rio bike course is a very serious challenge and Webb would have been totally out of his depth on such a hilly and challenging route.
