Mo Farah can't run sub 27. He can't even crack 13 minutes in a 5000 anymore. Those days were long ago for him.
He ran a fast 3000 because he switched to MD speed years ago as his tactic. He ran the sub 60 half because he's so skinny that he could cruise at that pace. But he hasn't got anything in between, those two abilities don't add up to cruising at a fast 5000/10000 pace. They only add up to sit and kick in Beijing.

I think the race will be really fast. Farah has talked about wanting to set new PRs in the 5k and 10k. His WR earlier this year showed he's serious about running fast and this may be his only shot in 2015. Hoping for a sub-26:40.
