No, I could not. Sign me up to discuss ad nauseum his ills until he begged me to flip the switch. And, he'd be a better man for it.

Yep, where there's compassion there's change

Ok.
Well if we could just bottle up all of that compassion I'd sure like it if you could drop it over ISIS in Ramadi right now. The innocent women and children could use the change now.
Let me know when you finish that ok. Thanx
Compassion doesn't prevent evil, but it can tame it.
I would like to mess with his head. Lots of mock executions...get to the switch, then go "Nah, not today. Maybe tomorrow"
Guess what?
I just called over to Ramadi and all those innocent women and children hiding in their closets waiting for the building to come down on top of them said that the ISIS rockets and mortars were tamed!
You did it! I was wrong all along.
Absoltely.
And OP, I'm anti-death penalty, but not out of tender feelings for murderers.

Better yet, just leave a pressure cooker right outside the bars of his cell. For years.
Tick

You're jaded and cynical.
Nevertheless your heart is in the right place

Thanks.
I admit this much. It sort of happens after you have to deal with these people face to face for years rather than on a polished and censored TV network. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but I sure do respect the opinions of those who have a lot more.
Absolutely yes. I would take no pleasure in doing it and would prefer not to do it but I could and would do it if needed.
Society owes Tsarnaev nothing. His behavior absolved our society of any obligation to feed and clothe and shelter him. The only certain way to rid him from society, without providing for his needs is through death.
"... Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. ..."

Also, death sentence cases tend to be highly emotional affairs where people are out for blood and political careers can be made or broken. This is not an atmosphere conducive to either clear thinking, sober judgement, or sound justice.
That and the fact that the government can hardly fix a pot hole correctly, so why would we trust them with life and death decisions?
No, I would not pull the lever, or fire the anti-aircraft missile.
Am anti- death penalty. Also anti- prison. I believe in restitution, a life spent doing good works.
Actually, I would be ok if they let this guy live so long as they put him in gen pop instead of supermax.
I would use an anti-aircraft gun on this little pecker.
Absolutely, because by attacking innocent people, he attacked me personally. Any one of us could have been unlucky enough to be within the blast range he moment his bomb detonated. Any one of use could have lost our one precious existence or had to tough the rest of it out with no legs. Any one of us could have lost a spouse or child forever. The only people who don't want that worthless subhuman dead are pacifist lunatics. I would be GLAD to throw the switch myself.

He has already been neutralized.
I foresee a drone strike on his motorcade when he is transported to the courthouse for his appeal.
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
