I just finished reading this in its entirety. Obviously, the Patriot's attorneys have a job to do but they handled this piece very nicely:
(1) Wells completely disregarded Referee Anderson's recollection of which gauge he used pre-game to measure the footballs. This, ultimately, will exonerate Brady. For those who haven't read the Wells report or the rebuttal, there were two pressure gauges (the "logo" gauge and the "non-logo" gauge). The logo gauge consistently measured PSI higher than the non-logo gauge (on both Indy and Patriot footballs). Referee Anderson recollected that he used the "logo" gauge pre-game to measure the footballs. As the rebuttal puts nice:
So, the Wells report is using different standards to measure the entire crux of their case.
