As an avid fisherman, I feel better now. Ok, now tell me, do worms feel pain because they act like they do.
I actually believe that sudy about fish. I have seen fish get hooked and not react until they feel a line pulling them in.
I don't know...would you feel pain if you had a hook going through the side of your face? Just because fish don't scream and say "oouuch, that hurts" doesn't mean it doesn't.

You should read the study.
Too much text. Can you please summarize in 1-3 sentences. Thank?
The suffocation from being out of water is worse than the hook.
Dentist have found that people don't mind their teeth being drilled.

There is literally a 2 sentence summary at the top of the article.
Fish do not feel pain the way humans do, according to a team of neurobiologists, behavioral ecologists and fishery scientists. The researchers conclude that fish do not have the neuro-physiological capacity for a conscious awareness of pain.

That was funny, typical conservative didn't even bother to look at the study. They don't like science!

How does that make you feel better? Even if they supposedly can't feel it (the study doesn't actually prove this. It says they don't feel pain the way humans do), that doesn't mean they can't feel it when you lift their entire body supported only their lip or when you are suffocating them by having them out of the water.

I wonder what they feel when I rip their gills out and bleed them.

I'm sure this is not the case, but it almost seems like you want ME to feel bad.

Why would you feel bad about feeding yourself? It's what you evolved to do.
Whether it hurts them or not, they clearly don't like it.
If you are going to eat animals, which you should, just accept the guilt and live with it. Don't try to be innocent about it.
Doesn't matter. If it isn't MY pain it doesn't count!

Did he say he was feeding himself? Don't invent evolution arguments.

Hunting and gathering is part of our evolutionary heritage whether or not one fishes to feed oneself or whether one fishes for pleasure. Stop feeling guilty for who you are.

I didn't say I felt guilty for who I am. What I actually said was stop inventing evolution arguments and did he say he was feeding himself. Stop dodging my comments.
