At first I thought it was just your standard tactical affair but it become obvious when they started walking. There's no way that NO ONE ELSE would take over the lead at 6:00 mile pace. They all knew that Ches would do anything to not lead and that testing him in an all out 200m would be the only way to win. All those schools who sat behind Ches were in on it.

Yes, it worked...but in a meet like this?? What sense did that make? Now, we all know that in the big meets coming up, it will never work again. Cheserek will be getting the last laugh.
That one purple dude was about to take the lead on the backstretch, but he looked at someone in the stands and changed his mind, probably his coach told him keep jogging
well, the point is that it worked and Villanova won. This is a huge meet for them. Jordy Williamz does not care about Cheresek at NCAA's because they won't be in the same race. He got the last laugh on him here and he got a COA for Villanova, which means the world to them.
That is the point. They won.

So you want them to not do it in this meet and lose this one and all of the meets? That makes no sense.
It won't work in other races as Ches will be in 5k and 10k.
