With all of yesterday's Boston coverage we completely missed this today. I was thinking it was later in the week.
Great early season matchup on the roads tonight at the Grand Blue Mile at Drake.
Centro has to be the favorite but who do you got?
Men's Field: Bernard Lagat, Leo Manzano, Matthew Centrowitz, Garrett Heath, Will Leer, Riley Masters, Jordan McNamara, Matt Hillenbrand, Pat Casey, AJ Acosta, Ryan Martin, Duncan Phillips, Frezer Legesse and Boaz Korir
Women's Field: Heather Kampf, Heather Wilson, Gabrielle Grunewald, Molly Beckwith Ludlow, Nicole Sifuentes, Kirsty Legg and Dana Mecke

Manzano for sure
-
is this being televised anywhere?
-
The Drake Track Meet which has a track mile and Centro is running (not sure who else) will be on Universal Sports but the road mile is not on TV unless it is on local tv in Iowa.

Such a pleasant surprise for a Tuesday evening.

It really is. It reminded me of the early internet when I barely knew what was going on. I couldn't believe when I went to the Drake site that the Road mile was today. -

Talk about a pleasant surprise! This field is insanely loaded, should be an awesome race to watch...if there's a live stream. -
It's good to see AJ Acosta entered. He has survived some tough times and is running as well as ever right now.

Not true.
Centro 1.
Manzano 2.
Centro wore a baseball cap backwards for the whole race!!
You can watch a video from the finish here:

that stream didn't work for me
-
Actually I think the link: http://meerkatapp.co/grandbluemile/c2d45ebb-201d-4e4e-b3f8-020f9cd004d2?utm_source=twitter
was for a live feed (all it showed was the finish but you could hear the announcer). -
Any further results? How close was it?

It wasn't a lean or anything. He won by 2-3 meters. I wasn't paying attention to the distance, I was shocked by the baseball cap and was trying to see what that looked like. -
Centro's cap here:

Times?

Basically everyone ran 4:05 - 4:06 except Centro, Manzano, and Acosta went 4:08, and ssome other person ran like 4:18
-
Wait. Did Centro wear a hat?
