That looks like a bobcat to me.
This is why y'all can't get laid. Women can sense your sociopathy 1,609 meters away.

+1
I'm sad for the elderly owners. I'm not sad for the cat. Cats are the scum of the animal kingdom. The only good cat is a dead cat. Period.
No, it's clearly a domestic shorthair. And cnn keeps showing clips of "Tiger" with another vet who has stated she would often pet set for Tiger. For animal cruelty charges does it even matter whether the animal Is feral? And as far as "hawt" not hawt enough to keep her from getting fired....lol....and disowned by the vet associations....lol...and the school that gave her a degree....lol...and national news...lol....

No, it was running around wild, and stalking the vet's property, so she shot it to protect herself - much better than getting mauled by a cat.
Some people are so stupid.

Ms Lindsey wrote:It's more than just a cat. Some sources are stating the cat was a pet and owned by an elderly couple, and killing someones pet (unless it is in the act of killing your livestock) may be a felony with a 10,000 fine and 2 years in jail under Texas law. It's a good thing she admitted to killing the cat on Facebook, so there is a direct link between her and the animal cruelty. Kinda doubt she owns any livestock that a cat would be capable of killing.
That is total nonsense.
This was a feral cat out roaming around and not owned by anyone.
You should have a soft spot for animals that don't believe in doctors.

She claimed it was feral but reports are that it was a missing cat owned by elderly couple down road. (It doesn't look feral to me)
She was rightfully fired. She makes Britt McHenry look like mother Theresa!
How stupid and heartless can you be.

I don't get it? Was she a female animal or was she an animal veterinarian? Is there some other kind of veterinarian?

So, if you have a pet and I feel like it is a danger to me ... I not only CAN kill it, but I SHOULD kill it?
What is wrong with you? Who has ever gotten mauled by a cat? What kind of SALLY are you?

Why would someone be proud that they killed a cat and hold it up by the arrow? It is a cat? That one looks about 15 lbs?
If you give the cat a gun and the ability to use it, then tell the cat they are in a fight for their life, then maybe you could feel that way. But I don't think she would win that contest.
What would a feral cat do in your neighborhood that is so terrible? Kill too many mice and bats? My cat runs around outside all the time and kills mice, bats, ... and that is about it.
For whatever reason she is never able to kill a rabbit (and I would be really bummed if she did) or a chipmunk. She has no chance to kill raccoons or foxes, skunks, possums or woodchucks... and they are all around my heavily populated suburban yard all night every night (right near Michigan State University).
That girl is a straight up pos. I hope someone puts an arrow through her head.

Seriously.
I always wonder what went wrong in the demented little lives of people who would commit/applaud barbaric acts against defenseless animals.. Seriously, what happened to you, Good Shot? Is it an Oedipal complex? Mommy didn't love you enough? You felt "small" when you first saw daddy's pee pee, thus creating a lifelong feeling of inferiority? Please tell us so we can prevent mistakes like you in future generations!
Many people commenting have never been licensed vets. Being a vet is very stressful. You have to make quick decisions. I feel bad for the cat but the cat was running away. Why would this criminal cat run from the vet?
Cats kill small animals.
People kill cats.
What's the problem?

Cats kill billions of other animals a year in the U.S. alone,
plus they spread diseases and make many humans sick from their filth.
Their filth runs down people's immune systems and is a factor in people getting aids.
Your cat is not your cat when it's running around wild. It's a wild feral cat that you feed, that stalks the neighborhood destroying other people's property and kills other animals.

I'm pretty sure it was not a domestic cat that was brought to the vet, but was a wild feral cat that invaded the vet's property.
The vet was perfectly within her rights to dispose of the thing.
