I usually go pretty hard, 60s first lap, but then I die out to a 2:11. I am a sophomore and I hope to get sub 2. Can anyone help me? I notice I tend to get really tired by the 650m mark and its all just mental from there, lactic acid everywhere, breathing hard. I have lower back pain, it's kind of chronic? umm, can you guys help me strategize my races?? and how to run better. I also have a question about sugar, can I drink like sugary stuff (milk tea/milkshake/etc.) 1 day before a race?
I run a 5:03 mile. I don't know if this info helps. I also hope to get sub 5.
