I'm running a Half in about with the main goal being to go under 1:35. This is the first time I've trained somewhat consistently for a race since highschool and this will be my hobby-jogger debut. My problem in longer races has always been that I go out too hard and end up slogging in after about 10 miles. Would you reccommend going out slower than goal pace or trying to stay really consistent from the start. Thanks in advance!
