Long story short: I am four weeks away of my first marathon. I am a strong swimmer (up to 5km long non-stop trainings) and since september have started also cycling amd running. On the bike I've done even 120km in one day and usually do one-hour crazy interval training on the spinning bike. The run is my weakest but I did 50min on a 10km last december and just finished an 18km mud run lately.
I train as much as I can (7-10 sessions per week), but I still feel weak on my run. I wanted to do under 3:30 on the marathon but I don't feel that my calves are very strong (I get very sore after any quality run).
My foot hurts today so I will spend the afternoon on the spinning bike, and I hope I can come back to run tomorrow.
