Not Shell obviously.
"Population growth and economic development are driving up energy demand. All energy sources will be needed, with fossil fuels meeting the bulk of demand. At the same time CO2 emissions must be reduced to avoid serious climate change. To manage CO2, governments and industry must work together. Government action is needed and we support an international framework that puts a price on CO2, encouraging the use of all CO2-reducing technologies. Shell is taking action across four areas to help secure a sustainable energy future : natural gas, biofuels, carbon capture and storage, and energy efficiency."
http://www.shell.com/global/environment-society/environment/climate-change.htmlOr BP
"We agree that burning all known reserves would probably cause global temperatures to rise by more than 2°C – and that addressing this issue will require the efforts of governments, industry and individuals. However, we believe that the unburnable carbon approach to assessing the impact of potential climate regulation on a company’s value oversimplifies the complexity of the issue and overstates the potential financial impact.
http://www.bp.com/en/global/corporate/sustainability/the-energy-future/climate-change.htmlOr the world's biggest oil producer, Gazprom
"Protecting the environment and countering the adverse global climate change has become our company’s objective. The Kyoto Protocol, which is aimed at gradually reducing carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere, provides for trading these emissions. Our subsidiary company Gazprom Marketing & Trading, based in the UK, is developing this business segment."
http://www.gazpromexport.ru/en/about/environment/Or Chevron
"Chevron shares the concerns of governments and the public about climate change risks and recognizes that the use of fossil fuels to meet the world’s energy needs is a contributor to rising greenhouse gases (GHGs) in the earth’s atmosphere. We believe that taking prudent, practical and cost effective action to address climate change risks is the right thing to do. Mitigation of GHG emissions, adaptation to climate change and continuation of scientific and technological research should all be considered."

"Several studies indicate that increased greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated to the energy and transport sectors is a consequence of the surging consumption of energy, especially coming from fossil fuels. Therefore, we are committed to understand the impact our activity has on climatic conditions and to deploying measures to mitigate them.
Our strategy is focusing on initiatives related to energy efficiency, operating improvements, new technology research and development, using renewable energy sources (particularly biofuels), and promoting the efficient use of our products. With these actions, we mitigate the growth curve of the greenhouse gases generated by our operations and products, contributing to the expansion of our business taking place on a sustainable basis."

I would change the title of global warming to climate change at this point, in whatever research paper you're writing. In this year alone we have seen snow in all 50 states at the earliest time on record, and over 1,900 lowest high temperature and lowest low temperature records broken in the past 4 months across the nation. The Northeast also recorded their snowiest and coldest February on record. Syracuse, in February alone, racked up 76 inches of powder, up from a 53 inch average. Also, the northern ice cap seems to be growing, according to recent NWS and NOAA satellite observations. Here is irrefutable evidence that global warming is nothing more than a talking point and political handle now.

"Global warming refers to surface temperature increases, while climate change includes global warming and everything else that increasing greenhouse gas amounts will affect." - NASA
NOAA settled science: Earth at 58.24F in 2014 was allegedly hotter than Earth at 62.45F in 1997!
The global average temperature of 62.45 degrees Fahrenheit for 1997 was the warmest year on record, surpassing the previous record set in 1995 by 0.15 degrees Fahrenheit. The chart reflects variations from the 30-year average (1961-1990) of the combined land and sea surface temperatures.
http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/sotc/global/1997/13
The year 2014 was the warmest year across global land and ocean surfaces since records began in 1880. The annually-averaged temperature was 0.69°C (1.24°F) above the 20th century average of 13.9°C (57.0°F), easily breaking the previous records of 2005 and 2010 by 0.04°C (0.07°F). This also marks the 38th consecutive year (since 1977) that the yearly global temperature was above average. Including 2014, 9 of the 10 warmest years in the 135-year period of record have occurred in the 21st century. 1998 currently ranks as the fourth warmest year on record. The 2014 global average ocean temperature was also record high, at 0.57°C (1.03°F) above the 20th century average of 16.1°C (60.9°F), breaking the previous records of 1998 and 2003 by 0.05°C (0.09°F). Notably, ENSO-neutral conditions were present during all of 2014. The 2014 global average land surface temperature was 1.00°C (1.80°F) above the 20th century average of 8.5°C (47.3°F), the fourth highest annual value on record.
lol, headdressing at its finest!
Freakin March 4th, sitting here in Utah and got two feet a snow outside. All my flowers and plants usually come on by March 2. Their under two feet. Car won't start, furnace blew up and its still in the teens. Freezing everything.

Don't be worried over they're in Utah. Your plants will be just fine even though their under two feet of snow. They know that there best bud (you) cares deeply about them and that warms there little hearts.
We got about 4.5" of global warming yesterday.

They better know. Screw it Im goin out there now and digging the global warming off of them!
I'm not on any specific side of this debate but here in central florida we're already experiencing 90 degree weather. About two weeks ago we had lows in the 30s. It's all over the place here.
Frikin' Frakin' Fridgin' Cold here. ENOUGH ALREADY.
There isn't a debate, there are not sides to this discussion.
There is a global consensus of scientists that the earth is warming and as a result of that warming local weather and climate will change.
Some people deny this fact, but most are either paid by companies who have big stakes in the production of oil or have been somehow led to believe that the VAST amount of money that those interests have is somehow less than the funding for climate chance science.

Don't worry over there in Utah. Everything is looking good. In another 70 years or so, you'll be sitting on prime ocean-side property with a tropical climate...

why do you not believe science?
NASA has irrefutable evidence that humans have had a negative impact on the climate in the last 20 years... get educated fvckboy
"Syracuse, in February alone, racked up 76 inches of powder, up from a 53 inch average."
Wait, it snowed more in Syracuse in one month. THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!
"Also, the northern ice cap seems to be growing, according to recent NWS and NOAA satellite observations."
Exactly backwards, but it's cute when you try.

I would enjoy some global warming right about now. Too bad it doesn't exist :(
