Here are post -race interviews with Hasay and Rowbury. Rowbury admitted she was supposed to lead a few laps:
Hasay seemed resigned to the fact Shannon was going to beat her no matter what:
Y'all are seeing a different race that I am.
It looks like Hasay surged a few times to stop Rowbury from passing and also that Hasay swung 1/2 a lane wide on the straightaway.
If Hasay was pissed, I'm pretty sure that she was pissed at herself.

Hasay should be a shoo in for the 10k worlds. Flannagan (if she runs), Huddle (if she runs). Connelly, Goucher? Who else is in the competition?
Emma Bates, Juliet Bortoff. Both currently have much slower 10k PRs than Hasay but Bates ran 34:38 in 2012, 33:37 in 2013, 32:20 in 2014 and her collegiate 5k PR is faster than Hasay's (15:33 v 15:37). Bortoff is a bit slower than Bates but she's been focusing on longer stuff as a pro and running pretty well. Emily Sisson is also a possibility though I think Treacy redshirted her during cross in the fall to have a shot at the podium in 2015 so she may not want to have such a long track campaign. Rachel Ward, Hastings both ran around 32:20 last year. Erin Finn ran 32:40s as a freshman so she definitely has a lot of room for improvement. 2014 was also a bit of an off year for the 10k since there was no world champs, looking back at the 2013 list there's a lot of ifs.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
