But in "other professions" if you have a contract you're paid what the contract specifies regardless of how well or poorly you perform as long as you don't breach the terms of the contract. Hoka knew what they were doing when they signed him because he gave them immediate credibility and exposure with a market segment where they were once almost invisible. Anything that he does in terms of performance is gravy for them.
