In all fairness, this stuff happens with all kinds of races, but I agree it's even more irritating when the person is poor-spoken and apparently uneducated.

Who cares what was "implied". Look at what actually happened. Two coaches nearly get into a fight after a game and the parents, rather than attempt in any way to settle things down, instinctively whip out their phones to get the next viral video. This is a problem.

Whatever. If the other coach had been a redneck instead of a black guy, no one would care if the OP used the coach's language for characterization.

Youth sports are the worst! Coaches and parents just get out of control. There were many times that fights erupted on the sidelines and after games. And I was a member of the USATF Board of Directors in my area, and we had to have police at the meetings because they got so insane. And this was at the youth meetings.

The ref should have tossed that coach out of the game immediately. Hopefully someone else got video of all of the trash talking. I know it is hard not to mock someone when they are acting like a stereotype but keep it classy. You have no idea what you teach your athletes if you don't.

Youth sports was where I learned to NEVER say anything but "Good game, nice shot" because you never knew who was sitting right in front of you.

The point IS...............if the other coach and parents were white there would be no reference to race at all. Whitey thinks he is being slick with his subtle racial jabs. He kept repeating that they are only 2nd graders but those 2nd graders have a asswipe racist as a coach.

I think what I'm going to do is to instruct them to say exactly two words, "good game", and then immediately leave the court. I've had to do this with my soccer team before when there was an issue with players on my team taunting other players after a win. I made them practice it before the next game. It seemed to fix that situation pretty well. This was the first time I've a coach and parents come after me.

When this coach and his momma came at me (seriously...his momma!) the parents on his team were are standing around filming it. Had it turned violent, I suspect these videos would have gotten posted to WorldStarHipHop (a video sharing website) or similar website if that is no longer the popular one.

I'm going 7/10 for WorldStatHipHop and only a couple people even questioning this as a troll job.

If this is a true story, it's only one side of it and I would bet good money your as big an a&%hole as the other coach witch contributed to the whole thing.

And last but not least, if your not playing for score don't call it a game because that's not what it is.

I would have been on your side had it not been for the racial overtones. Pointing out the race of the opposing team does not serve a purpose in what you are trying to get across. I coached youth sports for many years and there are bad coaches, parents and fans of every race.

This only has racial overtones, if you make a racist assumption that only blacks listen to hip hop and would visit a website.

My son played middle school basketball in the Catholic School League. OMG! Those kids and parents were terrible. We were the only all black school in our conference and we went through hell. EVERY away game our kids were called th N Word by the other kids. At first our kids wanted to retaliate but the coach told them to ignore it. The refs didn't do a damn thing. We were much better than all the other teams so the coach kept the foot on the pedal as retaliation. We would run the score up on those idiots. Our school won the championship 3 years in a row.

The Catholic League had trophies for the MVP in championship games and tournaments for decades before we joined the league. Our kids dominated those whiteys so much they eliminated the Most Valuable Player Award. Funny! Crackers make me laugh.
