Bekele dropped out at 30k.
WTF! C'mon Bekele! I guess he felt like copying Ryan Hall

it honesty pisses me off how smooth these guys make a 2:55k look. what the f***
They make running look simple. As opposed to seeing people run in Central Park, which looks really, really complicated!

www.TheFilmTranscend.comUnderstand your thinking but you assume the marathon record is equal value to 5000/10000 which you cannot do.

Really a PR nightmare.
Sure as sh1t someone is going to bring it up.
Even if those first ETHs get DQ the money trickles to other ETHs, one Eritrea and one runner from Kenya.
Not sure if the Eritrean and Kenya even qualify since the are in the Main Class section not the Elite MH grouping.
I didn't get to see the race. Did Bekele look like he was working super hard? I sort of wonder if the plan was the have an "injury" to fall back on after 30k for a payday, with the real training pointing towards a good one at London.

The coverage was brilliant and two fantastic races. Makes me wonder about Bekele though. I have serious doubts. Kipchoge is the man to challenge Kipsang and Kimetto. Or was Bekele test running in Dubai. Would make sense.
Sorry I didn't see the race but I've seen a bit of the chat. Did I get this right: the lead group cut a corner? And they haven't been disqualified?
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
