Well Im a senior and most seasons on my team (both in cross and in track) I just feel like I am not enjoying it and I feel my coach doesn't push me to where I want to be. What are some pros and cons to doing this in my last track season?

From my experience:
Pros: -get to race
-have fun
Cons:
- have to travel on your own.
-teammates may think of you as a self center person.
-pay your own entry fees.
Despite the cons, racing unattached is worth it.
Why does your coach need to push you? Run the workouts faster if you can. That has nothing to do with your coach.
Thats not what I meant by push

Push as in give me a higher mileage or intensity. And I can't just do more after the workouts he/she gives me
I see you changed some of the facts around, but really Lukas, isn't it a bit late to be asking this question.

And supply your own kit.
Pros:
-YOU get to dictate everything and you're independent! You decide whats best for you and make your own decisions
- a lot more fun racing and working out (if you hate your team or coach)
- can buy cool clothing and show up to races like you are a boss
Cons:
- you may undertrain/overtrain
- race fees
- you will be hated by your team (but if you hate them already it doesn't matter yet right?)
- you can only enter in certain races (i.e. you can't run in states)

How is that different than what I suggested? Run your workouts faster. Or why can't you do more outside of practice?

Why not? What coach doesn't know won't hurt him.
You've got your whole life to be a hobby jogger on your own. You only have a short time to run on a team. Train as best you can with/around the coach, race with your team, and next year you can hobby jog to your heart's delight.
Are you talking HS or college? If high school, you wont find any meets that you can run against other HS competition. In college you can run some meets as an open athlete but not HS.
A good athlete would need holding back by their coach not pushing

+1. I went to high school in the mid 90s, at the height of the low mileage craze. My coach thought anything over 20 miles a week would cause our bodies to disintegrate. So I ran an extra 5-6 miles at home on my own each night. I got the miles I thought I needed and my coach was none the wiser.
thanks everyone for the input. I think I'll just stick with the team.

How about answering our question about why you can't push yourself?
