I'm looking for a shoe for long runs and recovery runs where my main goal is to get them over with injury-free.
I overpronate slightly and so far have been doing pretty much all my runs in asics super j-33s, which I'm guessing is suboptimal.
I'd like to get something a bit more durable and possibly stable/supportive, in which I can just slog through the miles, without having to bother about injuries, in particular shin splints/ITBS or ruining my calves/form. I guess I'll mostly be running 4:00 to 4:30/km on those runs, depending on how my form develops over the season - At the moment I'm doing ~4:15 for my long run.
What is the LR verdict on the Nike Structure 18/Adidas Boost Tempo 7/Asics DS Trainer 19 or 20?
I'm not fond of asking for held in running stores, simply because I feel bad getting advice and then ordering the recommended shoes over the internet, which I'm pretty much forced to do, due to being broke as fck.
