Hey! So I am 5'9 and weight about 142. I am not fat and I am I guess skinny but I have huge thighs that are full of muscle. However, because of this I feel like it has limited myself in the events I do. You see, I like running the mile but my mile best is 5:07 while my 800m is 2:06..... How can I loose the muscle on my thighs while being able to train at a hard level? How can I loose it? I can't diet because I eat very healthy but won't have the necessary carbs and such to complete workouts. Any thoughts? I want to be a well rounded runner but only seem kinda good in the 800. Thanks!
