I began running full time as a junior in hs and am wondering what event(s) I should focus on this coming outdoor season. Last year I ran 800, 1500, 4x400 the majority of the time.
My prs are: XC 5k: 16:00.33 1500: 4:13.78 800: 200:09 2 mile (came on route to my XC 5k pr): 10:20 1000: 2:40.70
Also I split 53 in a 4x400 last year.
My training during track season is usually in between 40-50 mpw with a long run (10-14mi) and 2 workouts per week (one tempo, cruise intervels, or hill and one speed workout).
