I have a 5:08 mile and 17:14 5k in 9th grade, but a terrible 3200. What 3200 time should i have?

oh gosh, he's back
I can tell you're excited.
12:17 if you're running less than 120 miles a week
8:52 if you're running 120+
Was the 5k course short? What was your 2nd best time? Anyways, if the 17:14 is legit, you should be able to go 10:30s even though you only have 5:08 mile speed.

^this
You'll never get anywhere unless you run 120+ mpw.
10:50-11:00
Only 120 mpw? I went from 35-140 mpw right before my freshman year of track and my 3200m PR went from 12:20 to 9:28. In my experience, the bigger the jump in mileage, the bigger the jump in PR's.

Dude why?
How do you run a low 17 5k but only a 5:08 mile? Your mile splits would have to be roughly 5:30-32 to run that 5k time.
In 9th grade I ran a 4:40 and a 16:41 at the D1 Michigan State meet....I am now a Sophomore. Also I ran a 9:49 pr for the 3200
I have trouble believing the PRs. Probably cause they're not real. 5:08 calculates to I'd say 18 flat if you're a miler, but if the 5K is your best event maybe 17:40-17:45. Likewise, if you're actually running 17:14 your mile should at least be sub 5. Don't troll us with your stupid threads kid. 1/10.
How many weeks apart did you run the 5:08 and the 17:14?
